The news anchor's voice trembles as she delivers the grim announcement: a massive asteroid, undetected until now, is on a collision course with Earth and will impact in 24 hours. The catastrophic event is unavoidable, and humanity is facing its final day.
With the clock ticking, I decide to spend my last hours surrounded by loved ones. I gather my family and friends for a final, heartfelt reunion. We reminisce about the good times, sharing stories and laughter amidst the tears. As the night falls, we head outside to a hilltop, setting up a bonfire under the starry sky.
We sit close, watching the constellations, knowing that soon they will be no more. I hold my loved ones tightly, cherishing every moment, every touch. In these final hours, we choose to face the end together, finding solace in our shared humanity and the love that binds us.
